Conditions of Participation & Privacy Policy for the Competition
“4711 REMIX Green Oasis x PAROOKAVILLE”
1 General
The organizer of the competition “4711 REMIX Green Oasis x PAROOKAVILLE” (hereinafter “competition”) is MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter “organizer”).
The recipient of the information provided by the competition participants is MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG. The website of MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG can be found at: www.mw.de. All questions, comments or complaints regarding the competition should be directed exclusively to MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG.
Participation in the competition is generally free of charge, but third parties may incur costs for transmitting participant data, e.g. costs for the data connection.
2 Competition process
The competition begins on June 26, 2024. Each participant can take part in the competition by entering his/her contact details until July 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
The winner will be chosen at random from among all participants who have completed and submitted the competition form. The winners will be notified of their win by email by July 3, 2024 and asked to contact the organizer by email. The winner notification may be in the "Spam" message folder. If a winner does not respond by 11:59 p.m. on July 4, 2024 at the latest, the right to the prize will expire. In this case, a new winner will be chosen at random and informed.
After the winners have responded by email, the prizes will be sent to the winners.
Members of the organizer or its affiliated companies are excluded from participation.
3 prizes
We are giving away to one person in total
1x2 Regular Saturday Visa + parking for the "PAROOKAVILLE" festival and a 4711 Remix fragrance package. The tickets are valid for Saturday, July 20, 2024. There will therefore be one winner.
The organizer is entitled to exchange the announced prizes at any time and replace them with other prizes of equivalent value. In these cases, the winners have no claims against the organizer or against legally affiliated companies. Payment of the equivalent value of the voucher in cash is not possible.
4 Eligibility
The minimum age for participation in the competition is 18 years. Each participant must be resident in Germany. Employees of the organizer and MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG or employees of companies associated with the organizer and their family members are excluded from participation. This rule also applies to freelance and permanent employees of companies and agencies who are involved in the planning, organization and execution of the competition.
There is no entitlement to participate in the competition. The organizer can reject data records without giving reasons and reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition who violate these conditions of participation. Participants who attempt to disrupt or manipulate the course of the competition or to gain an advantage by using unauthorized means can also be excluded from participation. Multiple entries are not permitted.
In cases of doubt, the organizer is entitled to request proof of identity from the winner, e.g. by providing an email address, e.g. by providing a copy of a suitable identity document. If such proof is not provided in a timely manner, this may lead to exclusion from the competition or loss of eligibility to win. Any information on the identity document that is not required will be communicated to the winners in advance and may be blacked out before it is sent.
5 General Exemption from Liability
With regard to the conduct of the competition, the organizer is only liable for damages that are based on a grossly negligent breach of duty by the organizer or on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent. The organizer is also liable for breaches of a material contractual obligation ("cardinal obligation"). In the case of simple negligence, however, this liability is limited to the typical damages that were foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded. In all other cases, the organizer's liability is expressly excluded.
In particular, the organizer assumes no liability for omissions, interruptions, deletions, delays in the execution of the competition or the transmission, failures of the communication lines as well as theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or modification of content and/or messages of the participants.
6 Cancellation of the competition
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. The organizer will only make use of this option if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for legal or technical reasons.

8 Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, inadmissible or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
