How two of our fragrance concepts received the Oscar of the perfume industry Avatar, Braveheart and Titanic - three films that almost everyone knows. Because all three won multiple Oscars in Los Angeles. In the perfume industry, there is an award that is equivalent to the Oscar of the film industry: the Duftstar. 4711 took home this award twice in recent years. In 2019 with the sparkling, wild 4711 Remix Cologne and in 2020 with the modern cologne fragrance 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser Floral Collection Rose.
A fragrance star doesn't just fall from the sky, it is chosen! Since 1973, the fragrance star has been the most important award in the industry. A 250-strong expert jury from the Fragrance Foundation with representatives from the fragrance industry, trade, advertising and the media selects the outstanding creations of the year from numerous submissions. But the public also decides: They vote for the audience award for the best fragrances in various categories.
